Do people actually win sweepstakes? Ours do, and you can check.

Healthy skepticism is the right instinct: this space has real winners and real scams side by side. So instead of asking you to trust us, this page shows you how to audit any sweepstakes, and then hands you our own receipts: a public winner record and a draw you can cryptographically verify yourself.

The honest industry answer

Yes: legitimate sweepstakes award their prizes, and real people win them constantly. The honest caveats: your odds depend entirely on how many entries a drawing receives, and the space also attracts outright scams: operations that were never going to pay anyone, built to harvest fees or personal information from "winners."

Which means the real question isn't "do people win sweepstakes"; it's "how do I tell the ones that pay from the ones that prey?"

Five checks that separate legit from scam

  1. You never pay to enter or to claim. Any "processing fee," "shipping charge," or "tax payment up front" to receive a prize is a scam, full stop.
  2. There's a real official rules page. Rules that name the sponsor, the prize, the dates, the eligibility and the odds language. No rules page, no entry.
  3. The sponsor is identifiable. A real company you can look up: a legal name, a website, a way to contact them.
  4. Winners are verifiable, not just claimed. "Someone won big!" is marketing. A published record of who won what, when, is evidence.
  5. The mechanics are explained. How entries are earned, how the draw works, and what your odds depend on, stated plainly, not hidden.

We run these same five checks across the whole app category and publish the scores at SweepstakeReport, our rankings publication. Every app is graded on the record, including our own. If you are here because you searched for our app by name, the direct answer, including who makes it and the two similarly named products that are not us, is on Is Chance Infinite legit?

Now run those checks on us

Chance Infinite is built to pass this audit on purpose, and to go one step further than any check requires. Every finished contest has ended with a real cash winner. The winners of Contests 1 and 2 were contacted directly and paid in full, and Contest 3 was won by @candychris: $200, drawn September 21, 2026, across 8,659 entries. Each one is published. And because "trust us" isn't an argument, every draw runs on a commit-reveal cryptographic scheme: the server records the hash of its random seed before it computes the winning number and publishes the seed after the draw, so anyone can confirm the two match and re-run the math that picked the winner.
Contest 3 · Drawn September 21, 2026
@candychris won $200

Weighted random draw over 8,659 entries. The prize is paid once the winner completes the checks in the official rules. Proof: seed and hash published.

Contest 2 · Drawn August 21, 2026
@DelDad won $100

Weighted random draw over 4,616 entries. Winner contacted and paid in full. Proof: seed and hash published.

Contest 1 · Drawn July 21, 2026
@sketchyechey won $100

Weighted random draw over 334 entries. Winner contacted and paid in full. Proof: seed and hash published.

Skeptic's FAQ

Do people actually win sweepstakes?

Yes: legitimate sweepstakes award their prizes, and real people win them constantly. The honest caveats: odds depend on how many entries a drawing receives, and the space also attracts scams that never intended to pay anyone. The fix is to favor sweepstakes that publish their rules, their winners, and how the draw works, and to walk away from any that ask for money.

Has anyone actually won Chance Infinite?

Yes. Every finished contest has ended with a real cash winner. The winners of contests 1 and 2 were contacted directly and paid in full: contest 1 paid @sketchyechey $100 on July 21, 2026, drawn over 334 entries, and contest 2 paid @DelDad $100 on August 21, 2026, drawn over 4,616 entries. Contest 3 was won by @candychris: $200, drawn September 21, 2026, across 8,659 entries. Every winner is published on our public winner record with their in-app handle, the amount, and the draw date, and each draw's cryptographic commit-reveal proof is published so anyone can verify the result.

How do I know a sweepstakes isn't a scam?

Five checks: you never pay to enter or to claim a prize (any "processing fee" or "tax payment up front" is a scam, full stop); there is a real official rules page naming the sponsor; the sponsor is an identifiable company you can look up; winners are verifiable, not just claimed; and the entry mechanics are explained. A sweepstakes that passes all five is structured like a legitimate one.

Do sweepstakes winners really get paid?

At legitimate operations, yes: they award the prizes their official rules state. At Chance Infinite the winner is contacted in the app or by phone and, once any identity, eligibility and tax checks the rules require are complete, is paid the cash prize; nothing is ever charged to claim. Any operation that asks a "winner" to pay something first is not awarding a prize, it is running a scam.

What are my actual odds of winning?

In a single-winner drawing like ours, your odds are your entries divided by all entries received. Chance Infinite shows you this live on the home screen, your tickets over the contest total, and the relationship is linear: twice the tickets, twice the chance. The draw is a weighted random selection over every ticket in the contest.
